But since getting my car back and driving it for a few days, the creaking noise has now spread to both sides of the rear strut/suspension area.

I plan on going into a shop to get a second opinion later this weekend when I have some free time. I figure momentum being shifted into a force or something may have knocked something off/cause and issue in the area, or from the exhaust being pushed in/bent that could have caused and issue there?. They said from where the impact area was, it was no where near the strut/suspension area. I brought this up to the body shop before getting repaired/getting the estimate and insurance which they said they would take a look at, but the body shop says it is, after doing the body work, worn out struts citing wear and tear, so the shop and insurance will not cover it.
