Or could it be something else? I checked inside (will have to take off the wheel and looking at the bushings as well) and everything looked normal, no fluid leaking anywhere. From driving my ride quality and everything seems the same, just now the annoying creaking noise, which you could hear it coming from the end of the street. And now I hear the noises in higher speed traffic as well (40-50mph and below) when I turn, go over a bump, anything that causes the rear area go up/down. But since getting my car back and driving it for a few days, the creaking noise has now spread to both sides of the rear strut/suspension area.

I plan on going into a shop to get a second opinion later this weekend when I have some free time. I figure momentum being shifted into a force or something may have knocked something off/cause and issue in the area, or from the exhaust being pushed in/bent that could have caused and issue there?. They said from where the impact area was, it was no where near the strut/suspension area. I brought this up to the body shop before getting repaired/getting the estimate and insurance which they said they would take a look at, but the body shop says it is, after doing the body work, worn out struts citing wear and tear, so the shop and insurance will not cover it.
It happens when I go over bumps and when I drive slower, or if I just take my hands and life the rear of the car up and down. They straightened out the exhaust, checked the alignment (which they said was fine and in spec) and installed a new bumper.īut after the accident (before going into the shop), my car started to make a creaking sound in the rear passenger side area, it sounds like a creaking bed. Since it wasn't my fault, I took it to the body shop and got it fixed.
